When US TV Stars Go Bad

What does one do when they’ve run out of fans in the U.S., GO ABROAD. Apparently outside the U.S. people have a less discriminating taste when it comes to their stars.

Prime Example: David Hasselhoff - Hooked on a Feeling

Holocaust Memorial

I had the opportunity go see the holocaust memorial and it was an interesting experience. Initially I didn't realize it was the holocaust memorial as it doesn’t really say except for some a couple small signs. What was really impressive was the scale of the project. It was an amazing experience to walk down a massive undulating labyrinth of stone plinths.

Siegessäule

Having gotten some sleep on the train I was ready to explore the city right we arrived. After the group found a hostel everyone passed out and I went on an impromptu walking tour of the city. I ended up running into this massive landmark. Apparently it is the national monument to Germany's "Wars of Unification". I decided that it would be a good idea to walk up the tower, not realizing how tall it actually is. If I had to compare it to anything I’d say it was like walking up the Statue of Liberty (spiral staircase and all). The view was incredible, check out the video.

Fun on the Ferry

Once the train boarded the ferry we were free to get on to the boat to enjoy all that it ha to offer. As it turns out the alcohol was cheap so we decided to "enjoy" our ferry ride. I was exhausted so I went to bed around 12:30, my peers decided to stay up. Check out below to see how that worked out for them.

Train to Berlin

We left Malmo Sweden and we got onto an overnight train to Berlin. It was pretty crazy since the train went onto a ferry and then took us across the Baltic Sea and then on to Berlin. It was a fun experience and after a couple days of travel we were glad to have a bed instead of another seat on a train.

BLOG BATTLE

Every few millennia there is a battle which rocks the very foundation of our existence. Today starts the Pierce/Carter BLOG WAR!!! (yeah we had a bit of extra time today). You may notice a counter at the bottom of the screen, this is responsible for counting everyone who visits the page every day. At the end of our time here (June 4th) we will both count our sites and the person with the most will receive the spoils of this epic battle (a couple beers).

Malmo Architecture

Malmo is known for some of its more modern architecture utilizing Swedish design. I got some idea from these that I may use when I start acquiring and/or building properties.

Th Next Day

One of my favorite parts of Denmark was the fact that there were bikes all over the city for people to use. All you had to do was out in a few bucks and the bike was yours to use. Then when you were done you got your change back. Great advertising opportunity.

Once we woke up Carter and I decided that we weren’t inclined to stick around in this cold and wet city so we decided to head out to Malmo, Sweden. This is a pick of the Hostel we stayed at.

Kastellet(the Citadel)

The tour took us through one of Europe’s finest and best preserved fortifications.

In the citadel we also came across an old windmill.
