Arrival in Sweden
So after a long day of traveling I have finally arrived in Sweden with more observations then I can possibly share in this one blog. On interesting story about my flight was about the “shortest” flight I had among the four I took to get here which was from Stockholm to Vaxjo (the city where I am living). So after a 7 hour layover in Stockholm I got on this regional plane for what was supposed to be a 40min flight. 20 min into the flight I overheard the captain speaking to the passengers in Swedish. The flight attendant then began walking thru the plane making sure everyone had there seatbelts on. Then a few minutes later she directed the passengers to do something in Swedish and then she look directly at me a said bend over. I was sitting in the first seat of the plane so I hadn’t noticed everyone behind me putting their heads down. So I followed. We then had a shaky landing. I spoke with the person next to me after we landed an as it turns out ONE OF THE TIRES WAS BLOWN. To add to this we had to land back in Stockholm. This was not an everyday occurrence and having gotten off one of the plane someone working for the plane asked me if I was scared?!?SCARED I had NO idea what was going on!!! Still everything ended up alright and I’m in my dorm now. I look forward to sharing more. I should have more time here so hopefully you’ll see more on this thing then when I was in Argentina.
