Visiting Stockholm

So before I went to Vaxjo I had a layover in Stockholm for seven hours. I decided it would be a good time to get into the city and see what this country was really like. I took a speed train which got me from the airport to the city in 20min. The city was very beautiful. As a very general statement, I have realized that this place is incredibly attractive (in many regards). I spent a lot of my time getting lost in the old part of town called Riddarholmen, which is a small inlet called the “the knights islet”. At one point I worried that I wouldn’t get back into time for my flight, but my saving grace was that just about everyone here tends to speak English fairly well. Before heading out I had to grab food and as a good American I started culinary endeavors at the Golden Arches. More to come on Vaxjo.

As a side note write Comments… It lets me know that people are actually looking at this thing.

It doesn't matter where you go in the world there are still street performers who spraypaint themselves and try to look like statues(really freakin original)

Pierce,

I cannot help but be reminded of my travels overseas when reading your blog; it's awesome! You seem to be having a lot more fun than I did, as I can't really say that I've yet had the pleasure of being told by a hot, Swedish flight attendant to put my head between my legs...good thing I'm young!

...tell me, how did you manage to sabotage the tire? Brilliant!

Don't confuse my enthusiasm for anything more than what it is: pure jealousy! Seriously, it looks like you are of to an amazing summer, so keep the pics coming. Meanwhile, I (apparently) have some silver spray paint to wash off...Oh well, I guess there's always Krumpin'
